This beer earned the honor of being the very first lager our head brewer Adam ever made. Being a history buff, particularly when it comes to beer, he didn't want to make another cream ale or blonde as Twin Span's light and easy entry point. He looked to history and crafted a recipe as similar as he could get to the beers Quad Citizens would have been drinking 100+ years ago.

Using heritage malts such as 6-row and flaked corn, this beer stands out in the pint glass. There's no confusing this with industrial light lagers owned by international mega-corporations. This beer lives and breathes local craft. As a continued local tribute, we named it after the local Lock and Dam #14.
