This beer started its life as simply "Amber", a tribute to our head brewer Adam's twin sister. As the beer itself is and was an example of a polotmavé pivo (a Czech Amber Lager), the name "Amber" was an easier sell. As our Amber grew in popularity, we noticed store shelves were being overrun with beers billed as Amber Lagers, so the decision was made to rebrand as "Twin Sister" to better stand out (and to prevent any bad blood with the real Amber).

As this is a style unfamiliar to most Americans, the goal is to present a beer decidedly different from the sweet and oftentimes muddy/bland/"murpley" Ambers that flood the market. This beer is a balance between malt and toast with a hint of spice and dried flowers. Complex, but dry and palatable enough to invite another pint.
