Fruited wheat ales are incredibly popular in the Quad Cities. We held off on making one of our own for years because of how many others were already in the market. However, after releasing a well-received Peach Kolsch, we decided there was room in the market for an easy-drinking, low ABV wheat with peaches. It quickly became one of our best sellers and earned its place in our core lineup.

It was around this time that our head brewer lost his cat, Luna, whom he had nicknamed Lunar Cat. Assigning her name to this new beer was a fitting tribute, and spawned the creation of the Cat Series of fruited wheat ales. The base beer is a beautiful canvas for combining different fruit flavors without becoming heavy or overly sweet.
