Brewer's Notes

Oh, barleywine. You'll be hard pressed to find a brewer who doesn't consider it one of their favorite styles. Typically consisting of just one or two malts and no hop presence, this style is the essence of barley dialed up to 11. With a yeast that is somehow both expressive and restrained, a counterpoint is created for balance.

Aging it for over a year in a bourbon barrel from our friends just up the road at the Mississippi River Distilling Company is the icing to this already decadent cake. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I do. Cheers!
